I've never yet put together a list of those moments in pop music which I consider the most insanely cheerful and upbeat things ever, but if I did, I imagine that Brian May's guitar solo in Holly Johnson's Love Train would probably be close to the top of the list.
(The guitar solo in Starship's Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now and the whole of Madonna's Cherish would also be high on the list...)
(Indeed, why stop at the guitar solos?)
(Any other suggestions welcome. But I'm talking pop. Not rock, not metal, not goff, sorry goth, just pop. Not necessarily cheesy, but it helps.)
