This may be a long shot...

...would anybody like some old audio tapes?

As I've said before, I'm in the process of replacing my audio cassette collection with nice shiny CDs (which have the twin benefits of being easy to rip to mp3 and playable in the car stereo) and therefore have a load of cassettes which I'll have no further use for. Broadly speaking, we're talking mainly '80s & '90s pop & rock. I'll draw up a full list if there's any interest (suffice it to say, artists include Sam Brown, All About Eve, Fleetwood Mac, The Church, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Iron Maiden, Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, and loads of others). Sarah, whose mum works in a charity shop, assures me that they won't sell, so basically if nobody wants any of them (free to a good home, subject to either getting them to you in person or posting them, for which I might ask for a little contribution), they're likely to end up being chucked away.

Like I said, let me know if you're interested and I'll get round to posting a list of tapes that are up for grabs. If I don't hear anything within a week, I'll assume there's no interest.
