On one of the bright sides...

There's this. "Mastertapes with Suzanne Vega". From the website:

Suzanne Vega joins John Wilson to talk about her second album Solitude Standing, first released a quarter of a century ago. Having begun her career on acoustic guitar in New York's Greenwich Village clubs, this 1987 album hit number two in the UK, was nominated for three Grammys and went platinum. Luka, the unlikely pop hit, brought a slice of real life to the Top 40, whilst Tom's Diner brought Suzanne's music to the clubbing scene. Solitude Standing launched Vega as an international star and provides a window into the New York landscape that influenced its release.

**There will be a unique opportunity to ask Suzanne questions about her life and career after the interview with John Wilson. Please note that your contact details will be shared with the production team prior to the recording. This is in order to send details and gather audience questions ahead of the recording.**

Have applied for a ticket. Don't know if I'll be successful - and if I am, it'll mean taking a day off work, but hey, could be fun.
