Tech question

Does the iPad have an HDMI out? It'd be nice to use Sarah's to watch some of the films she's downloaded onto it on our nice big TV. She doesn't *think* it's got one, and I can't find it listened in any of the specs on the Apple site, but I just thought I'd check to see if anyone hereabouts knew.

Failing that - what's a good, if cheap, tablet that *does* have HDMI out? Right now I'm sorely tempted to bung a Kindle Fire HD on my Amazon wishlist... ^_^
