Donkey Droppings.

On the not unreasonable basis that he might (according to some rumours) be the new Doctor Who, I just watched Ben Daniels' episode of Drop the Dead Donkey (Old Father Time, from series 1), which was a pleasantly amusing way of spending 25 minutes. Rather interestingly, Daniels plays Henry Davenport's great nephew, who is named Jack Davenport. That would be no relation to the actor, obviously.

Apparently he's also been in a couple of episodes of Merlin (episodes which I've not got to yet) as well as in the film adaptation of Beautiful Thing, in which he...completely failed to make an impression on me. Oh. Although I must confess, I found the film nowhere near as good as the stage version anyway...

In other, totally unrelated news, I am considering getting a T-shirt printed up that says "Sarah's Dishwasher," since that is what I am. (Not a complaint, just an observation.)
