Not sure what's worse...

  1. The fact that I've not seen, read, or in any other way experienced Game of Thrones.
  2. The fact that, despite the fact that I have, quite frankly, more than enough programmes to be watching at the moment (visit our house, you won't be able to move for DVDs...) my interest perked up when I saw posters in London advertising that GoT series 3 is available on Netflix
  3. The fact that I went home and looked for it on Netflix
  4. The fact that I couldn't find any GoT on Netflix. At all. Not just "not series 3" but not any series.

Although I think the last one is the worst thing. I mean, I didn't see any sort of "from such-and-such a date" on the posters, so I'd assume it meant it was already there...and even if series 3 wasn't, it would kind of make sense for the first two series to be there. But nope...nothing, zip, nada, zilch, etc. Which I'd call bad advertising.

I mean, as it is I suspect it wouldn't really be my cup of tea, as I'm more into sci-fi, or at least fantasy in a modern setting (i.e. Buffy), than fantasy (Tolkein being the only real exception to that). But even so.

Also? Am determined to actually use my Livejournal for the purpose for which I originally got it, i.e. to keep a personal (if public) diary. I've been betraying LJ in favour of Facebook far too much lately...
