We live in a world where...

...the internet allows pretty much anything to be widely, if not necessarily legally, distributed. Remember the Doctor Who episode Rose leaking onto the internet a few weeks before it was transmitted? Tip of the iceberg. The unscreened pilot episode of Buffy, the two unscreened American pilot episodes of Red Dwarf, the multitracks of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, a demo of Pet Shop Boys' Jealousy where Neil really strains to make the line "the clock strikes three"*...they're all out there if you know where to look for them.

But the important thing is, whatever you're after, someone has to have, erm, decided to release it into the wild, or at least inadvertantly let it slip.

And there's one thing that I've always wanted to hear, and, sadly, the people who have it are guarding it very closely - but if it ever leaks, I'm there like a shot:

The three (well, that's what I've heard) tracks that Judas Priest recorded with Stock/Aitken/Waterman back in the late '80s.

Yes, it's a Real Thing. It was widely reported at the time, and it's mentioned all over the interwebz. The song titles are, apparently, I Will Return, You Keep Giving Me The Runaround, and "You Are Everything</b> (a cover version of a song by The Stylistics). But copies of them online? Nope. Not a sausage. Apparently JP have got them and keep them well guarded. Although according to Wikipedia:

However in 2012, Pete Waterman admitted to Drowned in Music that he also owns a copy of the recording: "“But I occasionally dig the record out and play it to people, and they’re amazed that we made heavy metal.” and also " “They’re probably the best tracks we ever did, but quite rightly their manager said no."

One day...

*Also, the line that would eventually become "I wish I'd never met you or that I could bear to let you go," is in its original form, "I wish I'd never met you all those hours ago," which puts an intriguingly different spin on the song...
