Whenever I'm asked what my favourite movie is, I always say, the Back to the Future trilogy, all three of them (with a personal soft spot for the second, because, wibbly wobbly timey wimey). So, that.
2. Movie you vow to never watch.
I wouldn't vow never to watch a movie as such, but I tend to squick out pretty easily, and will tend to avoid anything that's got a lot of blood, gore, etc. Something like Hostel or Saw would be right off my horizon. I've got Shaun of the Dead on DVD but have yet to watch more than about 15 minutes into it because I don't want to be scared out of my mind.
3. Movie that literally left you speechless.
The Truman Show. I saw it, and left the cinema thinking...okay, how do I know that I'm not in that sort of situation, with loads of cameras and millions of people watching my every move? Kind of gives you a lot to think about.
4. Movie you always recommend.
Well, you know how much I adore Titanic.
5. Actor/actress you always watch, no matter how crappy the movie.
Charlotte Coleman, pretty obviously.
6. Actor/actress you don’t get the appeal for.
None, really. At least, none that I've seen in a movie. There are probably several that I've not seen that would leave me thinking, "what do people see in him/her?"
7. Actor/actress, living or dead, you’d love to meet.
Well, again pretty obviously, I'd love to meet Charlotte Coleman again, were she still alive. Also, Judy Garland and Marilyn Monroe I always think were fascinating people who would be interesting to meet. Of actors who are still with us, Peter Capaldi and Christopher Eccleston, so I can complete my set of "all the surviving Doctors" that I've met. Also, if I could have met William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee (the latter of whom I sat fairly near in the BAFTA cinema for the screening of More than Thirty Years in the TARDIS but didn't actually meet), that would've been cool.
8. Sexiest actor/actress you’ve seen.
Apart from Charlotte, again? Summer Glau is pretty gorgeous. Also, David Tennant.
9. Dream cast.
Well, speaking of Summer Glau, I would say that any movie that includes the cast of the TV series Firefly would be a pretty awesome movie. Thankfully, there is such a movie... :-) (Joss's Much Ado About Nothing also has a pretty awesome cast.)
10. Favorite actor pairing.
I think there should be more films and TV programmes which feature David Tennant and John Simm together. I loved the combination of Anne Reid and Derek Jacobi in Last Tango in Halifax. And because Titanic is one of my favourite movies, Kate Winslett and Leonardo di Caprio are also a pairing I enjoy watching (although I haven't seen the other, more recent, movie they did together).
11. Favorite movie setting.
If it's enjoyable, I'll watch it regardless of where it's set.
