Tweet tweet?

December 16th, 2013 (06:14 am)

Erm. In the last 24 hours, my Twitter account has, apparently, been hacked, started tweeting random posts in cyrillic font (I assume Russian) and started following random posters who also post in cyrillic font (again, I assume Russian). Each time this has happened, I've changed my password. Each time, it's happened again (the random tweetage/followage) within a few hours at most (56 minutes in one case!). I've now changed my password three times, to increasingly impenetrable passwords. I'm loathe to do it again in case I choose a password that's so impenetrable I can't remember it. Am I missing something? Is it actually getting repeatedly hacked or is something else happening? Can anyone offer any solutions?

The Devil In Heart

Try removing any/all applications you've allowed to access your account, in case one of those is doing the damage

I would also run Malware Bytes and see if there's any malware/spyware on your computer that might be stealing your PW.
