On Saturday...

January 21st, 2014 (08:56 pm)

...Sarah and I will be taking our respective mothers to this exhibition at the British Library, on the grounds that it Sounds Interesting.

I just wondered, though - does anybody on my Flist/Facebook timeline know of any eateries nearby? We're going for a morning viewing of the exhibition and hoping to lunch afterwards, but have no real idea what there is in the vicinity. A decent pub lunch would be great, if anyone can recommend one.

There is a cafe in the BL itself. The big pub just over the Euston Road is nice. Both are expensive - main dishes ten pounds or more.

Best food and value I know of would be the Diwana in Drummond Street to the West of Euston Station - splendid Indian vegetarian food, plate or buffet.
If it is still there - they were worried about redevelopment last year when I was last there.

Have a great day - BL is lovely.

Can't help with eateries, but I went to the exhibition on Saturday and it was really enjoyable
