I was reading an article on the BBC news app the other day about people who choose to work on Christmas Day, and was intrigued by the London Walks company mentioned in the first piece of the article. It's too late this year for Sarah and I to go on one of their Christmas Day walks, as we've already made plans for Christmas Day that involve not being in London, but they do a wide range of other walking tours throughout the year (and not all in London - I'm kind of interested by the possibility of Canterbury), but there's another Dickens walk on Boxing Day, and loads of other interesting walks the year round. I think if we don't do Boxing Day, we're likely to do at least one over the week between Christmas and New Year, as Sarah has the time off work. We're also thinking of doing the Sherlock Holmes-related A Hollow Body walk/interactive experience, and following that up with the Sherlock Holmes exhibition at the Museum of London.
