For my own reference...

January 3rd, 2015 (11:36 am)

...a list of films coming out this year that I'd like to see at the cinema (or, in at least one case, a film that came out last year that I'd like to see at the cinema if I still can; also going to include at least a couple that I never managed to see at the cinema, but that I'll make a point of getting when they come out on Blu-Ray/DVD...)

The Babadook - already out (24th October) - may have missed it

Interstellar - already out (7th November)

The Imitation Game - already out (14th November)

Penguins of Madagascar - already out (5th December)

Birdman - already out (1st January)

The Theory of Everything - already out (1st January)

The Woman in Black: Angel of Death - already out (2nd January)

Into the Woods - 9th January

Mortdecai - 23rd January

Kingsman: The Secret Service - 29th January

Big Hero 6 - 30th January

Shaun the Sheep - The Movie - 6th February

Pride (missed it at the cinema, but there's a showing at Hemel Old Town Hall on 25th March...)

Home - 27th March

Magic in the Moonlight (again, missed it at the cinema, but Old Town Hall is showing it on 16th April. Although that might coincide with our planned holiday in Greece... Blu-Ray comes out on 2nd February)

Avengers - Age of Ultron - 24th April

Minions - 26th June

The Maze Runner - Scorch Trials - 18th September

Spectre - 6th November

Star Wars - The Force Awakens - 18th December

...well, that lot should keep me busy...

Can't wait to see Big Hero 6. And I had no idea Shaun the Sheep was an upcoming movie! So exciting :D

There's a couple of those I wouldn't mind seeing myself - Babadook and Birdman in particular, based on reviews I've seen. I'm even thinking of *gasp* going to the cinema - it turns out there's an Odeon near work that's nowhere near as expensive as the Cineworld near me, so I might start looking at going on a Friday if there's timely showings.

MY main squee movie of 2015 though?

The Babadook is brilliant, and you know how much I love Pride. Really looking forward to Home, too - if it's anything like the book I'm bound to love it!

Did you know Mark Kermode put The Babadook as his personal favourite?
