Oh, now how on earth did *that* happen?

I appear to have bought a couple of Seanan McGuire books. Tch. Guess I'll have to ask her to sign them now. It'd be rude not to.

Also, a Genki Gear t-shirt appears to have lurked into my collection. It's the one that says "Guinea Pigs Everywhere Salute You."

And a toothbrush. That last one was rather a necessity, as I've left my own one at home. It probably needed replacing anyway...

Also, went to an interesting talk on retro computing by Liam Proven this morning. He's written a book, which is available fairly cheaply as a Kindle download, called A brief history of virtualisation. Tempted to buy that - it's only £2:27, after all.

Also, apparently Lisp (or its subset Scheme is the best language to learn to program in - even if you never use it after you've learned it, you will at least have learned how to program properly. Interesting.

Now, am tired. Would go to bed were it not that room service have just turned up to give the room a clean...
