Just a few songs I've had on my mind lately...

Blue Savannah by Erasure. Because the world needs as much synthpop country & western as it can possibly get.

Don't know why I had this going through my mind at work yesterday, but there are far worse songs to have going through one's mind. The public does, indeed, get what the public wants...

And, ahead of Eurovision, the UK entry which I post not out of patriotism (since I don't have any) but because I actually really rather like it. I don't know if it's obvious Eurovision winning material or not, but I'd vote for it.

In other news, I've got today off work, mainly so I can get to the signing for the new Doctor Who City of Death novelisation in good time. As it's at St. Pancras at 6:30pm, taking the whole day off work could be a bit of an extreme measure (although given my ability to be late, it's probably just as well to be cautious). Am seriously thinking of heading into town early, and possibly having a walk in Regent's Park if the weather's good (which, at the moment, it is), or visiting Madame Tussaud's and their rather tempting Star Wars exhibit. Or possibly both...
