Coupling - Stuck in the Giggle Loop

Oooooooooookkkkkkkkkaaaaaaayyy...

You know your fiancee's fandom has eaten your brain when you see a magazine called Complete KitCar and...well, I'm sure you can imagine...

On a completely unrelated note, why on earth did the bottle of lemon barley water which I bought the other day taste rather strongly of peach? I mean, don't get me wrong, I like peaches, but just not as a flavouring in lemon barley water.

On another completely unrelated note, I now have a new pair of specs. Well, two to be precise (one being a pair of prescription sunglasses).

I also have About Time Volume 6 (thank you Galaxy 4!!!), so my original plan of spending the day off work doing some tidying and cleaning may, um, fall by the wayside...

*ahem*

On the negative side...

...Sarah and I will no longer be having our fortnight together in the USA, or at least not in the immediate aftermath of BotCon.

On the positive side, that means I get to go see this, which as I'm currently listening to stupid amounts of ISIHAC (and giggling myself silly, my poor workmates must wonder what I'm on sometimes) can only possibly be a good thing.

*g*

Somebody help me...

...I think Torchwood has just driven me textbook sad.

'Cos I've just spent most of the episode wondering what the fact that it's clearly and unambiguously set in 2008 does for established continuity (chiefly the timeline worked out by Lance Parkin for aHistory).

Checking, I've just found that as it's set on Friday 20th, it must be June.

I really need to get some sort of life.

On the plus side, Jack/Ianto! Yay!

And Tosh was cute, but then she always is.

Although on the whole, it wasn't a particularly amazing episode, I felt.
