Coupling - Stuck in the Giggle Loop

Really bonkers speculation...

...although I'm sure someone's suggested it before.

If The Gene Hunt Chronicles prove to be successful enough (and they're certainly proving to be so thus far, despite Ashes to Ashes not quite making 100% sense yet), what odds a series set in the '90s?

They could call it Hallo Spaceboy, and use the Pet Shop Boys' remix of the Bowie track for the theme tune.

I'd be happy.

(I'd be even happier if it were on my flippin' iPod...)

Ashes to Ashes...

I'm still thinking about it (and if my musings are right, then it's going in a direction that's totally unexpected, except to most of fandom who've been predicting it since about before the first episode), but until I get my head sorted out, can I be honest and say that the best thing about TV last night was the Doctor Who trailer that came after A2A??! I think I might have squeed a bit. Sorry.

Oh, and Torchwood tonight - I'm looking forward to seeing Fragments properly, and indeed hearing it properly.

And new Doctor Who starts Saturday week. I can't bring myself to get terribly worked up about the early time slot - RTD might be right, it might be bad news, but I'm inclined to just wait and see. Whatever, it'll be good to have the programme back.

And about a month off, but there'll be new eps of Supernatural soon as well. *happy*

The Doctor/Martha and Doctor/Jack "pr0n" that were read out on The Friday Night Project...nobody seems to know who they're by. One of them was thought to be by nostalgia_lj but it turns out that's wrong.

But...Google's showing literally nothing for either of them.

So...did the writers of the show just write some (brief snippets of) (so-called) Doctor Who pr0n? They should join some of the comms, they'd go down a treat...

And as for Mr Tennant acting all innocent...y'don't fool me, mate...
