Loads to blog about, but...had rather a surprising but welcome email in my inbox - recording for the 51st series of I'm Sorry, I Haven't A Clue starts soon, with guest presenters, including Stephen Fry at the one (or rather the two) being recorded in London.
Suffice it to say, I think I'll be trying to get a ticket to that one when they go on sale... *g*
Colleague (who has been tasked with replacing every 'phone, some 50 of them, in the call centrte): "If I see another 'phone after this, I'll go mad."
Me: "In that case, can I have your iPhone?"
Well, it's worth a try...
I get married on Saturday September 19th, and then the plan is that Sarah and I will spend a week recovering. Not actually on honeymoon - that's not until next February or so - but just taking a week aside to go somewhere quiet and peaceful and chill out and not have to actually do anything.
Returning to home somewhere around the weekend of September 26th/27th.
Unfortunately, Connotations - which I was really looking forward to, having enjoyed it last year - is going to be on the weekend of the 26th/27th.
It probably won't be really practical to try and persuade Sarah that it would be a really cool con to go to (although you never know), but even if it were, the timing's really shonky. Although as I'd been mulling about possibly spending our week-away-from-it-all at the hotel in Whitley Bay where I stayed for last year's Connotations, it might work out vaguely do-able.
Sarah - thinky thoughts?
