Coupling - Stuck in the Giggle Loop

We-e-e-e-e-ell...

Touch wood, the heavy bout of depression that hit yesterday seems to have cleared. I wonder if it may have been weather-related - yesterday had that unpleasant "there's a thunderstorm in the air" feel to it, but today seems really light and refreshing by comparison.

I am, though, rather annoyed at Santander, because I went in to one of their branches on Saturday and cancelled a standing order from my account, but it seems to have gone out of my account today anyway. Fortunately, it's only into Sarah's account so she can pay it back to me, but even so... I'd do it by telephone banking but I can't really get the hang of that - it's all automated and all I could get it to do on Saturday was tell me how much I was overdrawn by, which wasn't desperately helpful...

I'll have what she's having...

Because I don't often have to make 'phone calls or interact with other folks at work, I usually listen to stuff on my iPod.

Quite often, I listen to old episodes of I'm Sorry, I Haven't A Clue, because quite frankly it's gloriously silly and guaranteed to put a smile on my face.

I just found an absolutely wonderful moment (17 minutes into series 37, episode 3...I just mention that for future reference) - a game called Clanger Theatre, in which Graeme and Barry enact the fake orgasm scene from When Harry Met Sally, with Barry in the Billy Crystal role and Graeme (on swanee whistle) as Meg Ryan.

It's absolutely hilarious, not least because Graeme's clanger impersonation is absolutely flawless. It's a damned good job the folks on the next desk had left the room for a cigarette, because I was in hysterics and I wonder what they'd have thought...
