Coupling - Stuck in the Giggle Loop

Request for pics

Could any of my Flist who were at the Merlin event yesterday please be really wonderful and share any nice pics you took? Particularly of Katie and Bradley? I gather there was a signing going on before the screening but I only arrived in time for the screening itself so I missed that (if there was anything going on afterwards that I also missed, I shall sulk), and then in the hall I was too far back to get any decent pictures. :o( So if anybody can help out, it would be hugely appreciated.

And...wasn't it great? I refuse to post anything remotely spoilerish about the episodes themselves (I shall just say: they were flipping epic), but yeah, a fun afternoon, and seeing those episodes spliced together into one 90-minute movie with special surround mix was all kinds of awesome. Especially being surrounded by other Merlin fans cheering and laughing and applauding and going "ahhhhh..." and indeed "aaggghhh!" at the appropriate points.

Saturday 7:20pm, right?

Oh, and as for the revelation that the BFI guy who presented the event did some reading of the various reviews of last year's event, and has learned...three certain words*...yeah, words fail me.

David.

*"Squee" was one. "Slash dragon" were the other two... *g*
Coupling - Stuck in the Giggle Loop

The next couple of weekends

I'm thinking I'd quite like to see Going the Distance. Partly because I like a good romcom (or even, going by the reviews, a mediocre romcom), and partly because I like Drew Barrymore.

Right now I'm thinking, there's a local church that meets at the cinema I'd be going to in order to see GtD. So I'm sort of vaguely putting them together and making plans for Sunday...

Saturday, meanwhile, is going to involve me and Sarah going to see my dad.

The following weekend will be our wedding anniversary. There's a Mitch Benn gig on the Saturday in St. Albans, which I'd quite like to take Sarah to (Misha, would you and Zoe be interested in joining us for that? We ought to meet up at some point soon). The Sunday, though, is going to be just the two of us.

In other news, it'c chucking it down outside.
