Coupling - Stuck in the Giggle Loop

So, yesterday I achieved something. It wasn't, in the grand scheme of things, something particularly overwhelming - specifically, I tidied the footstool in the lounge - but given the difficulty I have motivating myself to do anything much lately (even waking up for work is a major struggle, despite four alarms on my 'phone and a couple of calls from Sarah), I feel quite accomplished for managing it.

Now, to get to work - and hopefully I'll achieve something today that'll make me feel accomplished.

Oh, and thanks to Channel 5 for showing Men in Black II last night. Rather amazingly I've not seen it before, so I've got that to look forward to on the old Sky+ box.

Writer's Block: Parlez-vous francais?

What other foreign languages do you know? Which one(s) do you want to learn?

Erm. I did O-level French and Spanish, and can remember a few words of each, but not enough to cobble together a meaninful conversation in either. I also studied Latin when I was eleven, and New Testament Greek for my degree. Same applies for them too, really, with the caveat that I can't imagine a situation when I'd need to hold a conversation in either.

Also, I used to be pretty good at BBC Basic, have a passing familiarity with Java, and hope to teach myself C+ or some variant thereof.

...what should I listen to next?

Any suggestions gratefully received, although it kind of depends on what I've got on my iPod...

Having a moment of depression. Wanting to go and visit places from my past, even though it'll only fuel the depression. Wouldn't mind, but I was feeling fine an hour or so back, it's just suddenly come on.

Oh well. I get to go home this evening and spend time with Sarah. That'll be good.
