Random question...

What's a really good TV series to get into for lots of hot spaceship-on-spaceship action? (By which I mean, dogfights in space, X-wings vs TIE Fighters sort of thing, not spaceships getting it on with each other, which would be...perfectly okay if that's what floats your boat, and as a die-hard Harmonian even post-Deathly Hallows I can hardly get all judgey about other people's chosen pairings.) Anyway, yeah. Outer space battles in TV series, with good plots as well. Feel free to rec away (and don't hesitate to rec things you think, or even know, I've seen, including, well, the one in the userpic).

Trust me, I will probably be posting more and more obsessively about the Tintin movie as the release date draws near. The only fandom (for want of a slightly better word) I've loved longer than Tintin is Doctor Who. Well, possibly Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. But anyway, Tintin goes back to my childhood...

Oh, what??!

BBC One to drop spy drama Spooks after next series.

Damn. :o(

Mind you, if they decide to end with a nuclear attack on London on the eve of the 2012 Olympics, at least that would make Spooks: Code 9 canonical... :o)

And I'm not 100% sure if the recently announced Morse prequel means that Lewis will be coming to an end.

And...I've never seen the original Dirty Dancing (at the time it wasn't really my cup of tea, but I suspect I'd quite like it), but...is a remake really necessary?
