Coupling - Stuck in the Giggle Loop

Drip drip drop.

Okay, I can now officially stop pretending the weather is "little April showers" - they're definitely "flipping enormous May deluges."

I wouldn't mind, but in Hemel and Milton Keynes yesterday, the weather was really nice, proper spring day (and I was reflecting on how a year ago Sarah and I had been in the Lakes in wonderful weather), but overnight it seems to have changed its mind. I was woken up in the middle of the night by what I think was a really loud roll of thunder. Still, didn't feel particularly headachey or anything this morning. Although after briefly stirring at about 6:00am, I went back to bed and didn't wake up properly until about 9:00am. Oops. Late.

One of my colleagues has brought her two-week-old daughter into the office. This is reminding me of how much I'd love to be a daddy.

But, back to work.

At some point tomorrow, Sarah will get home from her retreat (not today, as she'd originally told me). Am looking forward to that. Have all sorts of things to talk to her about, but will go easy on her tomorrow evening as the restful relaxing retreat will be followed by a train journey to Paddington and a coach journey to Hemel, so she may be a bit frazzled. :-/

Now - dinner, ep 2 of The Bridge, blood test thingy, and bed.
