It helps that not only is next weekend our getting-away-from-it-all holiday in Swanage, but this weekend we're off to Coventry for WriterCon UK, which seems from what I can gather to be a fairly relaxed small-scale sort of a "do", and a chance to meet up with a couple of friends and hopefully make some new ones.
My depression's lifted, Sarah's back seems to be better touch wood, and on the whole life is good.
And if a Super PAC mates with Superman, is the result a Super Pacman?
<insert groan of your choice here>
I'm sorry, but did Would I Lie To You just get very very slashy..? In a Lee Mack/David Mitchell kind of way..?
(It might always be like this - I don't normally watch it, but just have it on whilst awaiting HIGNFY...)
Seriously, did I hear Hislop say to Shatner, of the Sunday Times, "it's not ours, it belongs to Murdoch; he's American, he's one of yours"?
Cos, erm, Murdoch's Australian and Shatner's Canadian, unless I'm mistaken...
