We are staying here, and it is beautiful. It's actually the same place we stayed on our first visit to Swanage, back in Easter 2009, but this time I'm tempted to spend a fair bit of time hanging around the hotel gardens, which are just utterly lovely. I'd vaguely talked with Sarah about getting the train up to Corfe Castle, but...we've done that once.
Whatever we do, though, we're happy and enjoying a break from it all.
My iPhone is now working. Yay! I'm probably still going to try to upgrade to a 4 on the same tariff, if I can, but at least I can still use my existing one.
Sarah and I have just got back from a very pleasant morning meeting here.
I think this may be my favourite thing on Apple computers and gadgets ever. It is a thing of sheer beauty.
Ripping a few CDs while we're down here. Just got to All About Eve. Genre tag: Pseudo hippy gothic folk rock and blues. (c) Tim Fuller
The whole "replacing worn out tapes with CDs thing is...interesting. Recently got Martika's first album, which I'm sure I remember really enjoying originally, but listening to it in the car on the way to work on Friday I found myself thinking it was a bit dull. On the other hand, the same evening I was rather surprised by how much I was enjoying Faith by George Michael. Not sure when I last listened to the tape, but I was happily singing along to large chunks of the lyrics. Great stuff. :-)
