Coupling - Stuck in the Giggle Loop

So, yeah...

...you know the whole thing where I really have a massive phobia attached to making 'phone calls?*

Well, I just made one I've been putting off for...a very long time indeed.

And it was fine. Heart was pounding like a mad poundy thing at the start, but as I settled into the conversation I kind of felt vaguely okay. Glad it's over, and there's related stuff still to be done, a form to be filled in, a letter to write, etc., but hey, at least I've got (hopefully) the most difficult bit out of the way.

David.

*And if you know me IRL, you may like to ponder the question - how many times have I actually 'phoned you, and how many times has my communication with you been by text or email? You may be surprised at how many times it's been the latter, and how few it's been the former. Unless you're huntingospray or my mum.

Mmm.

On the negative side, my depression appears to be...well, let's just say "more noticeable than I'd like," and leave it at that. Sarah is also not having too great a time of it right now.

Silliness.

Something I'd love to hear an archaeologist say:

"Can you help me find my car keys*? They're buried somewhere under that pile of paperwork."

David.

*Or indeed anything mundane that an archaeologist can feasibly lose.
