Pratchett Gaiman M25

I don't know if I'm just lamentably out of the loop (always a possibility) or if this is genuinely something that had been kept ever so ever so quiet until just recently, but apparently there's to be a Radio 4/Radio 4 Extra adaptation of Lord Gaiman's Neverwhere directed and adapted by Dirk Maggs (so it's in safe hands) and with a cast list to die for. James McAvoy, Anthony Head, Sophie Okonedo, Christopher Lee, Bernard Cribbins, BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH (*ahem*) (the latter obviously keeping busy after Star Trek and The Hobbit with this, followed by some Cabin Pressure recordings next month before going onto series 3 of Sherlock in January)...

Goes out "in the first 4 months of 2013". I can't wait. :-)

And on an entirely other note, how fantastically awesome (and more than a little silly) is this?

(Midttrafik. Making buses interesting. In Denmark, at least.)

Just had one of those...

..."wait, what?" moments, when chappie on Dara's Science Club was talking about the 3D Printer and how you need a CAD file, and I thought, "hang on, wasn't that the monk played by Derek Jacobi..?"

I mean, I know what he actually said, but even so.

Although Sarah assures me that Cadfael's name is pronounced "Cad-fail." Typical Sarah, taking all the fun out of life... :-)
