Doctor Who - The Snowmen pic

Watching Warehouse 13...

...which I was given for Christmas (or it could have been birthday, that general week of last year anyway). Got to the episode Breakdown.

Artie: What is this?
Everybody in the audience: It's the contractually obliged moment in every cult TV show where Mark Sheppard appears.

Aim for the stars, you might just land on the moon...or possibly fake it.

Okay, here's the thing - I know that between Livejournal, Twitter and Facebook I have some reasonably intelligent (in many cases, *very* intelligent) friends and family, many of whom are fellow geeks and also have a high interest in science-y things.

So, a question: what would you say to someone - like the person I've just started conversing with on a discussion forum - who is convinced that the NASA moon landings were faked? Is there a really good website or two that puts together all the counter-arguments in a polite, intelligent manner? Any good videos to recommend? I've suggested he have a look at the relevent episode of Mythbusters, obviously, but I will freely admit that, unlike Sarah, my knowledge of such matters is limited (although I've pointed out that the lack of any manned moon missions for the last 40 years would suggest that actually, maybe they're not faked...indeed, if all it takes to go to the moon is to launch a fake rocket, keep the astronauts out of the public eye for a while, and then fake a landing on a Hollywood-esque sound stage, we could probably have got - or least pretended to get - to *Mars* and beyond by now...).

So, yeah...any hints, tips and suggestions greatly appreciated!
