Everyman for himself!

Musketeers later.

Trouble is, I can't help thinking of this:

Doesn't help that I have, or at least used to have, the tail end (no pun intended) of several episodes of Muskehounds on various tapes before episodes of Press Gang...don't think I've ever actually seen a whole episode, but sat through the end credits and the irritatingly catchy theme tune several times...

I don't know...

...if that UKIP councillor (y'know, the one who blamed the latest batch of bad weather on plans to legalise same-sex marriage) realises what a laughing stock he is (on the bright side, I have a vague hope that the fiasco may spell the death knell of UKIP).

However, if nothing else, it has led to this:

*giggles hysterically*

Pretty obviously, like most people I was saddened to hear of the recent death of Roger Lloyd Pack.

One of the first things I thought of on hearing the news was, "I'd love to see Archer's Goon." For those who don't know, Archer's Goon was a 1992 BBC adaptation of a Diana Wynne Jones novel. I've never read the novel, but back when it was on TV, I remember catching an interview with Roger, who was one of its stars, on the old Wogan show. ISTR thinking it looked worth catching, but - probably because I was working at the time - it wasn't always practical to record stuff, particularly not if there were schedule clashes (which I imagine may have been the case). Or I might just have forgotten.

Anyway, despite the fact that it's never been released on DVD (or, as far as I'm aware, VHS), I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it's on Youtube in its six episode entirety.

I, erm, may have now got it all downloaded on my MacBook. Looking forward to getting to see it... :-)
