I despair

According to mystifyingly popular hate rag The Daily Mail, "THERE ARE TOO MANY MIGRANTS". No doubt if their headlines weren't already in shouty caps bold font face they'd have emphasised "ARE" in some other attention-grabbing ways than just underlining it. Printing it in colour would, perhaps, have been too ironic...

Oh well. Have some Dan and Dan.

Rabbits, rabbits, rabbits.

Have missed an interview thanks to being held up getting the car brake lights fixed, and am unable to re-schedule.

Still, have another interview this afternoon which is one I really really want to get.

More time to get ready for it. :-)

I'm not really colour-blind at all. I only said that to fool Bluebottle.

You know how iTunes sometimes auto-downloads album art for your albums (even without you necessarily asking for it)? And how sometimes, it gets it...a bit wrong? Like the US release instead of the UK release (or vice versa), a reissue instead of the original, the album instead of the 7" single that you've just ripped from vinyl (e.g. Madonna's True Blue, George Michael's Faith)..?

And sometimes, it's only slightly wrong, but to a pedant (possibly borderline OCD person) like me, irritatingly so...

For example, this (the auto-download version): obviously a very different shade of blue to this (my scanned cover art):

And if anyone even dares to say I'm wrong, I shall set an optometrist onto them...

Goodbye, Redbottle...

More fun and games with iTunes...

Just got two very different suggestions for the identity of the album I was trying to rip:

I wouldn't mind, but I'd always been led to believe that the matching algorithm is based on album length, number of tracks and track lengths. But - on checking - I've found that the two albums have entirely different lengths and numbers of tracks. So that can't be it...
