It's rather a nice little place - two bedrooms, described as a "cottage" but I'd just call it a smallish house, two storeys with what looks like decent loft space and a shed (although a lot of my books and videos are going to end up in storage. *meh*) and a manageable back garden (tr: a couple of strips of lawn). A cute little set of stone steps up to the front door. It's in Bishop's Stortford, about ten minutes' walk, probably less, out of the town centre (and it's possible to walk it along the river bank, although slightly longer and when we tried it on Saturday we got v. v. muddy feet because it had been raining heavily the night before). And I quite like what I've seen of Bishop's Stortford - seems quite a cosy little town. I'm looking forward to settling in there myself. Sarah's probably going to be moving in in the next couple of weeks.
So *yay*. Need to spend more time packing and tidying up at my place.
And I feel quite excited about the whole Barack Obama inauguration. Because...just because.
Anyhew. Back to work.
