"What bugs me is that Simon Cowell's idea of pop music is so narrow"

Well, yes, it is. I'm surprised that that's a particularly newsworthy statement - especially as - despite the headline ("Tennant blasts Cowell's X Factor") - it didn't read as a particularly nasty or savage jibe in the context of the full interview.

Oh well. Nice to see he's making headlines. And with a new single and a new album and a Brits award and performance to look forward to, it's almost like old times. Hope there'll be a tour. :o)
