Failed my theory test. Did okay on the multiple choice part (48 out of 50, with a pass mark of 44 - hardly surprising, as I was in BSM before the test doing loads of practice sessions, and most of the questions I remembered from that!), but the hazard perception bit let me down badly. Again, not terribly surprising - I'd not had much time to prep and practice. Still, hopefully if I focus on that (but keep genning up on the multiple choice stuff too) I should be okay for next time. Whenever that is.

Saw the Pet Shop Boys on the Brits last night, and it was fun. The new single's growing on me too. Apparently they're doing a live date in June at the O2, which...would be nice to go to. If I can afford it. (Big if...) There's another date in Manchester. A proper tour would be nice.

Went round to see mum on Monday. She was looking after Jakob and Eleni. Jakob sat with me and watched The Clangers, which he loves! A fact which fills my fannish heart with all manner of glee! He asked me, "What noise does a Clanger make, uncle David?" and I did my best impression of a swannee whistle without actually having one, and he was all happy and delighted 'cos of that!
