Thing wot I have learned.
So, to stand as a candidate for the forthcoming European Parliament elections, one has to pay a deposit. Dunno for definite, but if it's anything like the British Parliament elections, the deposit is £500, refundable if the candidate gains more than 5% of the vote.
The BNP are fielding candidates in the European Parliament elections.
They've also had nice snazzy leaflets printed up advertising their, um, opinions and stuff.
It's, um, kind of nice to know that in these troubled financial times, they have money to throw away like that.
