We got the bus back into Swanage - fortunately we didn't have to wait too long for one - and then went to The Parade for lunch, fish and chips (bad, I know, but then we've only actually had that twice this week, so we're not doing too badly).
Then back to the hotel, where I chilled for a while, before Sarah finally persuaded me out to the beach. I ended up wimping out from going swimming (unlike Sarah, who did actually go into the water and had a good time in there, only coming back out because the tide was going out), but we both lay on the beach for a good couple of hours soaking up the vibes. And, indeed, the sunlight. Really rather a pleasant afternoon.
Back at the hotel, Sarah had dinner whilst I started cleaning and tidying and packing ready for our departure tomorrow (I can't believe it's come round so soon - this has been a very short week). Sarah went out to an Astronomy evening at Durlston. I'd been considering either going to that or to a folk night at the same place, but eventually passed on both - the former because I probably wouldn't get much out of it, the latter because it would've cost £8:00, which as we're both a bit cash-strapped seemed a bit of an extravagance. Instead, I stayed "home" and had mackerel potato salad and watched tonight's Peep Show, before heading for bed.
