30 days of me meme - day 2 (delayed)

Well, I kind of failed at posting daily (in fairness, the weekend was full of its, um, distractions...), but anyway:

Already happened:
Day 01 → Your favorite song

Day 02 → Your favorite movie
Another difficult one - I have several films that I'll happily sit through repeatedly - Titanic (which, despite what huntingospray thinks, isn't a romcom), the original Star Wars movies, The Full Monty, Withnail and I, Love, Actually, Notting Hill, and (to a lesser extent) Four Weddings and a Funeral; and several others that I won't necessarily watch repeatedly but even so I do like a heck of a lot - Serenity, The Lord of the Rings trilogy (which I realised yesterday that I don't think I've ever sat and watched any of the films in one sitting since seeing the first and third at the cinema when they first came out; room for improvement there, methinks). However - I know it's a cheat - but I'm going to pick a trilogy as my favourite - the Back to the Future films. The first and third ones are just fabulous, but my utter utter favourite - and I know this makes me strange - is the second. Partly because it's the one which goes really to town on the whole temporal paradox stuff, but not least for those glorious moments where we see now!Marty in scenes from the first movie interacting with characters from the first movie (and nearly bumping into then!Marty). Wonderful stuff.

Too bad my only copy's the R1 DVD release and I don't have a multi-region player at the moment...
