Just back from a pubmeet of Supernatural fans in London.

Meme gacked from maiafire, one of the fine folks I met there.

Lots of pillows or just one?
Two minimum. If Sarah's away, I'll sometimes nick one of hers.

What kind of books do you read?
Oh, all sorts. So far this year, I've read Unseen Academicals, And Another Thing..., Return to the Hundred Acre Wood, Merlin - The Poisoned Chalice, and I'm now on Starter for Ten. That should give you some small idea of the type of books I read.

What's the weirdest thing you've seen today?
Sarah's watching a documentary on the making of Tron, and the sight of a picture of Mickey Mouse and Pluto dressed up in the Tron garb was really...wonderful. I think a crossover fic is needed. Sarah says no.

ZOMBIES OR ROBOTS: Which apocalypse is more likely?
Realistically? Well, robots exist, whereas zombie (to the best of my knowledge) are fictional...

What are you doing right this second (besides answering this meme)?
Half paying attention to the Tron documentary.

What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
I guess really, Doctor Who. Other interests come and go (and I've no doubt some of my current interests - Chuck and SPN, for instance - will stick with me for a while), but I've been a Doctor Who fan since I was five, and so far it doesn't seem to want to give up its hold on me. Which suits me just fine.

Cake or cookies?
Well, really I shouldn't have either. If I were to have any right now with the promise of no ill effects...well, I quite like the Kipling orange & lemon chequers (mini battenburg by another name). Anything lemon flavoured goes down well with me, and cakes are more likely to be lemon flavoured than biscuits, so I guess I'll say cakes.

What's the last website you visited?
Christian Forums, for my usual daily dose of being gobsmacked by extreme right wing points of view.

What was the last thing you bought?
Dinner from KFC on the way back from Holborn.

How do you think you'll die?
At the moment, probably compilcations arising from diabetes, although I really hope I can make the lifestyle changes I need to make enough to minimise the danger.

Do you get cravings? If so, what do you crave?
Walker's Salt & Vinegar crisps.

What do you do to change your mood?
I enjoy listening to old episodes of I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, or watching Mock the Week or QI. They can really put a smile on my face. As can listening to good music (YMMV as far as what counts as "good music") played really loud.

What was the last meal you ate?

Do you want to learn another language?
Yes. C++

Five things near you right now:
1) Pile of Doctor Who video tapes looking for a good home.
2) iPod
3) iPhone
4) Pile of DVD-Rs.
5) Doctor Who Top Trumps that Sarah (& I, I think) were given as a Christmas present by a friend of hers.

Find the closest book currently sitting near you and flip to page 24. What is the first sentence of the second paragraph?
I don't actually have a book desperately close to me. However...

'What's in the bin?' I ask.

From Starter for Ten by David Nicholls.

What's the last thing you said out loud?
I told Sarah I was going to go to bed soon.

What are you looking forward to?
EasterCon, and the new series of Doctor Who and Ashes to Ashes.
