...has been a pleasant day, most of it spent out on the estate that is home to Watford's Vue cinema, where I went to the service at Christ First Watford, followed by lunch at Frankie and Benny's, then back to the cinema for Going the Distsnce, which was entertaining fun, a fairly pleasant way of spending a couple of hours.

I don't know who had the idea of broadcasting Stephen Fry's thing tomorrow from the Royal Festival Hall to "over 60 cinemas throughout the UK", but suffice it to say, I'm going to that!

Next film I go to see will probably be the 25th anniversary re-release of Back to the Future, and after that Life as know it looks like it could be rather fun. I do seem to be going to see films actually at the cinema than is usually the case. Oh well, it's a good way of keeping myself entertained.

Sarah and I were talking yesterday about getting a blu-ray player. When we do I suspect I'll get Kick Ass, and - when it's released - the blu-ray edition of Back to the Future (my existing copy is R1, and therefore not compatible with any of our current players).
