The latest issue of SciFiNow (issue 50, guest edited by Alistair Reynolds and with Matt Smith on the cover) has an interview with Kate Griffin/Catherine Webb on page 80 ("there's at least three more books. Whether every single one of them will be Swift, I don't yet know."), and on page 10, the news that "A Madness of Angels has been picked up by Hollywood for production.". Mixed feelings about that - I sort of feel a four or six hour miniseries would allow for the book to be adapted more closely than a two hour movie, but OTOH structurally the book isn't as strong as The Midnight Mayor and being compressed could work in its favour.
The Midnight Mayor, though, I think is really crying out for a six hour miniseries.
btw, as ms Griffin/Webb has been announced as s guest at the SFX Weekender, wouldn't be at all surprised if there's an interview with her in a future issue. Next issue'll probably have a Neon Court review, I'd've thought.
I'm thinking LJ could do with a Kate Griffin/Catherine Webb/Matthew Swift comm, if there isn't one already...
