I am me. There's not much else you need to know about me. I'm slightly addicted to the web and the internet. Fun, innit?!

To summarise some basic info about myself:

I was born in Ilford, Essex, England, in 1969, and lived most of my life in Chelmsford, Essex, England, apart from the first couple of years (when I was in Chadwell Heath, Romford), and a four-year period from 1995 - 1999 when I was living around the Wimbledon area and studying at university. (Well, technically at Roehampton Institute, but it's a university now). I've recently moved, though, to Bishop's Stortford in Hertfordshire.

I became a Christian on March 26th 1996. I'm between churches at the moment. I'll probably join The Community Church, which is a part of the newfrontiers family of churches, but I've an affinity for Methodism, and might end up going back to that and possibly returning to training as a Local Preacher, and possibly candidating for the ministry. But that's a way off yet.

I love music - I play the piano and keyboards (fairly well) and guitar (passably). Much of the time these days I tend to listen to Christian music, especially worship music, especially a lot of the music that has come out of the newfrontiers churches, but I also enjoy Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, Fleetwood Mac, Eurythmics, and loads of other music. I have a fairly full iPod.

I've been a huge fan of Doctor Who for as long as I can remember. I love the latest series - and it's wonderful to know that there's at least one more to come!

Dr. Who and the Daleks

I don't play much Traveller, but I do like to play when I get the opportunity. Most of it's pretty solo these days, though!!!

I got married back in December 1998 but it all went horribly horribly wrong in a very short space of time and I ended up getting divorced. However, I recently re-married, to a wonderful young lady by the name of Sarah. She shares my interests in Doctor Who, as well as The HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy and The Lord of the Rings, amongst others, and she also is a Christian. I'm hoping that we'll have a family soon.

I'd quite like to write for a living - a bit of theology, and also some science fiction ideas that I've had kicking around my head, some since I was about 10. For the moment, I'm trying to exercise my writing muscles by dabbling the occasional bit of fanfic for my many and varied fandoms. I totally surprised myself with my first, which was some Life on Mars slash.

I wouldn't previously have called myself a slasher, but I guess I'm coming out of the slash closet! You'll find my writing linked to in the "memories" section. I'm also coming out as a teensy smidgen of a bit bisexual. Which is interesting. Hot guys I like: David Tennant, John Barrowman, John Simm, Daniel Craig, and Jared Padalecki. Hot women I like: Charlotte Coleman (RIP), Jane Horrocks, Jodhi May, and Carey Mulligan.
